How a figure earns its place

  1. 1The claim is written with its source.A figure, a date, a name. Each one is tied to the page it came from, never to "research".
  2. 2The cited page is opened.Not a snippet, not a search result. The page itself, read in full, in a real browser when needed.
  3. 3The page has to say what we say.Our sentence is checked against the source sentence. A near match is not a match.
  4. 4Three outcomes, nothing open.Verified. Pulled by hand from a primary document. Or removed. A shipped report has no open items.
Both directions
What a report lost is checked too.Each new draft is compared with the last. A verified figure cannot drop out quietly between versions.
Dead links
A source that no longer answers is replaced, not footnoted.The claim is re-sourced or removed. A paywalled page stays cited; a vanished one does not.
Founder documents
Data-room files never reach a public AI service.Confidential documents are read by software on our own machines and are never used to train anything. Only the figures a founder approves appear in a report, each cited to its page. The full commitment.

What you see in the report

Every figure in a scorecard or full report carries a footnote. The sources document lists each source with the sentence it supports. Hand-pulled items are marked as such, with the document they came from.

Where a figure could not be verified, you see nothing. That is the point.
